Breath of Fresh Air Doula Services Welcomes You

A Birth and Bereavement Doula
Welcome
As a certified Doula, I am honored to be able to share my expertise with families from all walks of life. No matter your race, gender, sexual orientation or yearly income, I promise to serve and honor you and your pregnancy. I work in the NKy and Cincinnati area and am willing to do both in person and virtual support. If you are seeking a home or hospital birth, or you need support during a perinatal loss of anykind, I am at your service.

Prenatal Visits
Informative and Compassionate
I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering Prenatal Visits, my goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby.
With most clients I try to meet with them at least twice before their Estimated Due Date to discuss what your wishes are for your birth experience and to set up goals and make sure we meld well together in this journey.

Labor and Birth Support
Depending on your goals, I would love to support you during your labor and birth. I will be on-call, beginning 2 weeks before your Estimated Due Date so that I am available to you at any time.

Bereavement and Loss Support
Offering Support
During the most heartbreaking of times, I can offer my support to you and your family. With my experience as a bereavement doula, I can help guide you through the process of bringing your child earthside, and everything that comes after with compassionate care.

Bereavement Photography and Memorial Creation
Capturing Precious Moments
As a Free-Lance self-taught photographer, I can also offer my services to capture the moments during and after the birth if your precious child.
I also can create memorial pieces (hand/foot prints, hand/foot molds, certificate of life/death, ornaments, hair clippings, etc) for you to treasure for years to come.
➡Note: Due to the nature of the memorial pieces, their creation is dependent on many factors. Please reach out to me with any questions.
*these services are offered for a small but extra charge*

Your Doula
Welcome to Breath of Fresh Air. This business has been a dream of mine for over 9 years now, and as a now certified Birth and Bereavement Doula, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Gail, and I am a 34 year old Mom of Four Children. 3 living children (two sunshine kids aged 10 & 9) and one Rainbow baby aged 14 months, along with The Reason for this gift, my son Sigh, born sleeping at 16 weeks. While pregnant with my second Sunshine child, I discovered the art of Doula while taking a pregnancy class. In that moment I knew I was meant to be a Doula and serve pregnant people. When I lost my son in 2017, that intensified to my wanting to serve all birthing people, no matter the outcome. Thus my dream to become a Birth and Bereavement Doula took off. My experience of having both medical and natural birthing situations, and a loss has shaped how I view birth and hope to serve those who walk this journey.Thank you for stopping by! And please dont hesitate to reach out with any questions.
